Trushell Family Blog http://www.trushell.com/blog/index.cfm I finally got my new laptop! After waiting patiently for 10 days for it to arrive via UPS. Please remind me to never choose to ship with them again if I have the choice. They always seem to take forever with ground shipping. I guess it didn't help that it got rescheduled for some reason. 10 days to ship from California? This is absurd. Anyway my new laptop is a Macbook Pro and I'm totally loving it. I've had so many problems with Windows in the last 2 years that I decided to move over to the Mac for developing. I need a rock solid OS for work and after using Ubuntu for the last couple years I decided it was time to make the switch away from Windows for developing. It also doesn't help that my hard drive got corrupt right before my Vista install started throwing a ridiculous amount of errors. I'm still using my quad core which is running Windows XP home for my music production and for a backup dev machine if need be. Hopefully I won't ever have to use my quad core for developing again.
